It’s 2020 and infinite growth on a finite planet is approaching hard limits.
Our living world is facing multiple crises, and it’s losing badly. Habitat destruction, climate change, and pollution are causing massive drops in insect, fish, phytoplankton, and animal populations… They are the canary in the coal mine.
Overpopulation, global warming, mass extinction, peak energy, and economic inequality are some of the converging crises that place us in a predicament. And we can’t come out unscathed.
There is too much inertia in our infrastructure, geopolitics, society, and economic models, our unsustainable course is locked in for at least the next decade.
This blog is for people that understand the severity of our emergency, are willing to take a realistic look to where we’re heading, and want to act accordingly.
If you are curious or sceptical about our existential risks, learn more about our converging crises.
If you can connect the dots, then explore this blog for info on resilience, preparedness, and adaptation.
